VeryDarkMan has returned to the Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko saga, and honestly, he did not come to play.
The controversial activist has reacted to Regina Daniels’ reported return to her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, after weeks of public drama surrounding their marriage.
In a video making the rounds online, VeryDarkMan said he was happy about Regina’s return and sarcastically challenged those who had attacked him when he previously spoke about the actress and her marriage.
According to him, many people called him a misogynist and accused him of hating women simply because he shared his opinion about what was happening.
Now that Regina is reportedly back with Ned, VDM wants those same people to come back and explain themselves.
But his biggest concern was not even the marriage itself.
He questioned the argument that Regina went back because of her children.
VeryDarkMan asked why the children suddenly became the reason for her return when, according to him, she had allegedly stayed away from them during the period she was separated from Ned.
From there, he went straight into the issues that caused the whole drama in the first place.
One of the things he addressed was the allegation that Regina had issues with drug use. VDM claimed that Ned had raised concerns about the actress’ alleged drug use during the crisis and said he believed some of the things the senator said at the time were not simply made up.
He, however, maintained that Regina should not be blamed for everything.
In his view, the actress was very young when she entered the relationship and had adults around her making important decisions that eventually shaped her life.
And this is where VDM really turned his attention to Regina’s family.
He accused Regina’s mother of playing a major role in her relationship with Ned and argued that the actress was too young at the time and should have been given more opportunity to experience life before getting married.
He also had some harsh words for Regina’s brothers.
According to him, instead of helping their sister during the difficult period, they allegedly spent more time attacking Ned and defending Regina publicly.
VDM believes the family should have been more concerned about Regina’s wellbeing than the social media battle.
“Your enemies are your family members,” he said while advising Regina to stand on her own and set boundaries with the people around her.
He also claimed that Regina allowed herself to get carried away by the money and lifestyle that came with her marriage.
For VDM, Regina had a promising acting career before marriage and had the potential to become one of the biggest actresses in Nollywood. He believes she stepped away from too many opportunities and became more focused on the lifestyle that came with being married to a wealthy man.
Another part of his video that caught attention was his claim about Regina’s future relationships.
VDM argued that, because of the circumstances surrounding her marriage to Ned, it may not be easy for another man to settle down with her if she eventually leaves the marriage.
He was quick to add that he was not saying Regina was not beautiful or good enough for another man. Rather, he was talking about the baggage and public attention that could come with her story.
Perhaps the most surprising part of his comments was his defence of Ned.
VeryDarkMan claimed that, in his own opinion, Ned was the person who genuinely wanted Regina to get help during the crisis.
He pointed to the senator’s alleged insistence that Regina should travel abroad and get proper help over the concerns surrounding her alleged drug use.
Whether people agree with VDM or not, one thing is clear: he has once again dragged the Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko matter back into the public conversation.
And this time, he is pointing fingers at almost everybody around Regina.
His advice to the actress is simple — take control of your own life, be careful who you listen to and stop allowing other people to make important decisions for you.
As expected, Nigerians have already started picking sides.
Some are backing VeryDarkMan, while others believe he has gone too far by discussing such private family matters publicly.
Either way, this Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko story doesn’t look like it is ending anytime soon.
