Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has made it clear that the ongoing drama involving fellow rapper Blaqbonez will not make him turn his back on his girlfriend.
The rapper, whose real name is Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, reacted after Blaqbonez allegedly revealed that he previously had a friends-with-benefits relationship with Odumodublvck’s current girlfriend.
According to Odumodublvck, Blaqbonez personally called him to disclose the past relationship, allegedly believing that he was unaware of it. The rapper, however, said the information was not new to him.
Taking to the matter, Odumodublvck questioned why Blaqbonez would deliberately bring up something from the past and suggested that there was a bigger motive behind the revelation.
“Blaqbonez buzzed me with the intention of telling me that he was friends with benefit with my girlfriend a long time ago thinking I’m unaware. Who does such a vile thing?”
Odumodublvck went further, accusing Blaqbonez of trying to create a negative narrative around his girlfriend because he was allegedly rejected by her.
He claimed that Blaqbonez had been reaching out to the woman’s friends and allegedly begging for her attention, while trying to portray her in a bad light after things did not work out between them.
In his words:
“This guy has created a whole evil plan to harass and malign an innocent woman’s character because he was rejected. Woman wey you no love but you dey call all her friends. You dey beg, you dey cry, but as Mr sex over love, you gats portray narrative.”
Despite the controversy, Odumodublvck appears determined to stand firmly beside his partner. He made it clear that he is not interested in following public opinion when it comes to his relationship.
“Unfortunately, me I no be society. I love my woman and I go die for am if need be.”
For now, the exchange has added another layer to the already heated relationship drama between the two rappers, and fans are definitely watching to see where things go from here.
