Billionaire King Ochacho appears determined to give his son Iceking’s music career a major push, with reports that he is prepared to spend as much as $1 million on the promotion of the singer’s album.

Ochacho made his intentions known during a video call with popular streamer Peller, where he instructed him to gather the contacts of streamers, social media handlers and other online personalities who can help promote the project.
In the video, Ochacho repeatedly asked Peller about streamers and social media handlers before telling him to compile their details.
“All the streamers. All the flexers. All the social media handlers,” he said.
He then instructed Peller to send him the list, promising that the people on it would be paid to promote Iceking’s album on their respective pages.
“Give me their list. I’ll go give to you. And you send all of them zeroes. Make everybody [post] Iceking album on their page,” Ochacho said.
Peller, who appeared to understand the assignment, responded several times with “Yes sir” as Ochacho continued to emphasize the promotion plan.
The move shows that Ochacho is not leaving anything to chance when it comes to his son’s music. Rather than relying solely on traditional promotion, he appears to be targeting the huge influence of streamers and social media personalities to get Iceking’s album in front of a wider audience.
If the reported $1 million promotion budget is eventually committed to the project, it would be a very serious financial backing for Iceking as he pushes to establish himself in the Nigerian music scene.
For now, attention is on the album and how far this ambitious promotional plan will go.
