Portable has once again thrown social media into chaos, and this time, Zlatan Ibile is the target.
The Zazu crooner has raised eyebrows after questioning how his fellow street-pop star could have more than ₦500 million sitting in a single account, following Zlatan’s display of a ₦504 million balance online.
Zlatan had shared the impressive figure on September 6, 2026, and as expected, Nigerians immediately started talking. But while many were busy admiring the money, Portable came with a completely different reaction: he wanted answers.
In a video shared on social media, Portable questioned the authenticity and source of the money, arguing that it was unusual for an artiste to keep such a massive amount in one account.
He went as far as saying that someone with that kind of balance could either be a “loader” or involved in money laundering.
That is where things became interesting.
Portable also insisted that he knows what it means to handle serious money, claiming that he has personally seen and spent more than ₦500 million in his lifetime.
And because it wouldn’t be a Portable statement without some self-promotion, the singer added that he expects to make another huge amount through an anticipated Fanta ambassadorial deal.
But Zlatan apparently wasn’t interested in keeping quiet.
The rapper responded with a line that many fans have described as a direct shot at Portable:
“With all the soap and Fanta, N500m still go far for my guy eye.”
Ouch.
Zlatan’s response immediately added another layer to the drama, with fans now debating whether Portable went too far by questioning the source of the money or whether Zlatan’s reply was simply a well-timed clapback.
And honestly, this is where celebrity beef gets interesting.
