Guma-born artiste Otf Ciril is making his presence felt with his latest single, “My Life,” a fresh Afrosounds record that gives listeners a taste of what the Benue talent has to offer.
Born Torkula Luper Henry from Guma LGA, Benue State, Otf Ciril is an independent artiste carving his own path and using music to tell his story.
Released on February 20, 2026, “My Life” comes as a solo record, with Otf Ciril handling the songwriting himself. The track was produced by Musely, bringing the sound together and giving the record its own vibe.
What makes “My Life” interesting is the personal touch behind it. Rather than jumping on a crowded trend, Otf Ciril uses the song to express himself and give fans a better idea of the journey behind the artiste.
The new release also adds another name to the growing list of Benue talents pushing their music beyond their immediate environment. And for an independent artiste, every release counts — this one is another step forward for Otf Ciril.
If you’re looking out for new Benue artistes and fresh Afrosounds, Otf Ciril is definitely one name to keep on your radar.
“My Life” is out now.
